We've checked in to this dated, cramped room and would never stay again at this price. Initially, we changed rooms because we thought we had drawn the short straw... but our second premium kingsize room was exactly the same; Cramped and dated. The food & drink is also well overpriced although the beer garden is pleasant. We've stayed at MANY... More

We stayed here as part of a dancing package with the Donahey's Dancing School. The dancing weekend with Anton Du Beke and Erin Boakes was enchanting and the accommodation at the Village Hotel further added to the wonderful experience we had. It is a modern hotel with contemporary decor and young pleasant staff. Service with a huge smile is their... More

Hotel Lobby and external appearance is pretty nice. Beatiful Glass curtain wall outside. Black atmosphere inside. Rooms are really small. A locker would have been appreciated to store apparel in a decent way. too much moquette for me. I have problems with allergy and this is terrible. A mention should be made for the gyms and the swimming pool. WOW!!!... More

we live abroad so we arranged for our family to meet us here, what a mistake. the food was mainly inedible and the service was appalling. what wasn't full of fat or bones was cold. one of our company sent her meal back, lasagna, it was cold. it never returned. she ended up with somebodies elses bowl of chips. as... A lovely modern hotel, very comfortable beds, lovely bathroom, no complaints about the room at all. What we did complain about was the food in the restaurant. Terrible! Had a table booked for 6pm when the restaurant opened, we were seated straight away and there was only one other table occupied. We only had a limited time so ordered straight... More

Stayed here with a group of colleagues in may, I can only say that the service was a total shambles. All of my colleagues, 13 in total were all appealed at the time we had to wait to receive our meal that we had in the main restaraunt, from order to service took an hour, the waitress took our drinks... Stayed for a week during a cold wet April on business. The gym is brilliant, superb facility, full service, clean, great weights area, super pool, brilliant classes (own spinning suite), and if you want to stay away and exercise this place has to be on the list.... Rooms are average, ample size, but rather dark for working, and comfy beds.... More

The crazy, stripey decor is suddenly beginning to look dated and is anything but relaxing. The food was poor, especially if you are even vaguely trying to be healthy. The beds look uninviting with very small pillows and a dog eared Village chain magazine thrown on them for you to read. (When I saw it I thought that somebody must... More
