We stayed in an ensuite cabin and whilst it was a bit basic, it had everything we needed, fridge, toaster, kettle, towels , shampoo etc - even wineglasses and electric blankets which I hadn't expected. Only shower and toilet is clean to use but it need extra payment to use for shower. While they still charge you $20 /p (power site). Kitchen....i dont even wanna get in there again. We didn't find anyone rude at reception. The bathrooms are clean and well presented. We did laundry, had a fabulous camper van site all to ourselves and even tho this appears to be your only option in tekapo, we rated it very highly on our travels. Thank you.

We stayed in a Villa. One of the main concerns were the exposed wires on 3 lights in the villa, most especially the wall light above a single bed. Broken shower screen & mould. What a great way to start a campervan trip around the South Island. Friendly staff on arrival, great location for our powered site with views across the lake. Clean toilet/shower facilities. Short walk from town facilities. Loved it!

Beautiful scenery in front of our rented cabin, booked for two person sharing and the cabin comes with 4 beds. Everything was very clean and well up keep.
