This was the first stop for my husband and me after we landed in Frankfurt. We chose to stay here because we love Ayinger beer. Also, we wanted to enjoy the last days of Oktoberfest in Munich and we were able to catch the train from Aying to the city and avoid the hassle of driving and parking. The rooms... More

We spent two nights at this delightful hotel and enjoyed it immensely! The hotel is located in the center of the cozy little village of Aying; there's ample parking near the hotel. The staff are attentive and friendly. The hotel has a superb (albeit expensive) restaurant on site; they also have a pub across the way; we ate at both... More

This is a nice enough hotel - we stayed in the main building. The rooms are very average and show many visible signs of wear and tear. Given that we paid EUR 160/room, I would have expected a significantly higher standard or a much lower price (we paid less than this in the heart of Munich for a much better... More

Having lived in Munich as I child I remembered the great food an beer in Aying. So when I had some days to spend in Munich I decided to stay at the Aying hotel. I should have remembered that it is a fair walk from the S-Bahn to the hotel. It wouldn't have been much of a problem if I... More

We spent 3 nights at the Hotel (used the Karen Brown Guide as my source).....a charming establishment - helpful and friendly staff, with fine dining and a gasthaus on the premises with the brewery a short walk away. What good beer they brew too! Our room, on the third floor American, was really pretty with a sitting area, and all... More

We stayed here with our family , and had rooms in the main building ( there is a new building opposite - the Herrenhaus , which is very attractive ) The rooms and catering are all very good. We paid €150 and €170 for our two rooms , incl breakfast , This was for two couples , and Olivia the... More

Lovely hotel and restaurant in a small town near Munich. Our deluxe room was beautifully decorated and roomy with a comfortable bed and linens, excellent bathroom, balcony and large closet space. The breakfast buffet was varied and high quality, and the restaurant for dinner was friendly and top-notch, as was the more casual restaurant and small beer garden across the... More

This gave you the real feeling of Bavaria. From the outside, to the food, to the selection of Aying beers, all worth trying. The room was ok but expensive at 200euros and the woman at reception would have argued black was white over anything and was just a pain in the neck. However, the rest of the staff were lovely... We spent the night here to visit a business partner and I loved every minute of it. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and amazingly comfortable. The bathtub was actually big enough to fit us both which is hardly ever, and the amenities smelled lovely. The breakfast was well laid out and included a made to order hot section. Service was... the Hotel Brauereigasthof Aying is a total Gem! Located about 40mins from the centre of Munich in a beautiful little village with views to the Alps to gaze upon whilst you await your S bahn into town. (Failing that there is ample parking for your car!) I was heavily pregnant during our stay and even this cranky pregnant woman could... More
