Elaia is a nice family 3+ stars hotel in the Sperlonga valley. Location is tricky - Google maps give the wrong address, so make sure to find out how to get there. To find a place like Sperlonga so close to Rome was a pleasant surprise, small unspoilt village with a nice beach. I wanted somewhere to chill out before we went to stay in Rome, it was ideal. The hotel is very modern and beautifully fitted out, every bedroom has it's own colourful picture painted by Francesco Pezzuco.

Hotel is new (4 years ) approx and is well maintained. Staff and owner very friendly and went out of their way to help us with information on the locality. Hotel is a 5 minute walk from the sea which we didnt even notice. A great place - we would come back.
