Pete and his family were welcoming, friendly, and accomidating. The house we stayed in was very clean, spacious, and well kept. (Even my mom who prefers Marriott style hotels was impressed and happy!) The breakfast and farm tour were a highlight. The sheep sheering and sheep dog demonstration were neat and a New Zealand MUST! Pete and his family are...

The house we stayed in, separate from the main house gives us privacy n comfort .there is also wireless, cable tv, electric blankets in all of the beds n a big box of toys for the wee one. The design is child friendly, spacious n so cosy we forgot that this is a farm. Gayle makes wonderful blueberry muffins n...

Pete and Gaye both welcomed us to their home and provided us with information about New Zealand in general and the Rangiora area in particular. Pete gives a farm tour which would be especially interesting to "city folk" and children alike. The farm is located a short drive from Rangiora; the yard has pretty gardens and interesting animals in residence....

Thank-you for your review. Pete and I are sorry you felt unsafe in our home without a lock on your door. But this is our home, and we have put locks on the bathroom and toilet doors.
In regard to the ensuite, you booked the room on our online booking service which was the bedroom you received. We would never put...

Well It must be said I found this on spec and what a find. An amazingly mix of beauty and quietness and I never wanted to leave. The sky at night is fantastic and you have an incredible feeling of tranquility.

My husband and I had a wonderful overnight stay here--definitely a highlight of our 2 week, cross-country road trip.
Shared family accommodation worried me at first because privacy is important to us. I was afraid that we would be the only couple staying on the farm among families with kids, but this was not the case. In fact, there were...

It was a pity we only had 1 night before flying off the next day. My family stayed in the cottage. It had all the amenities that you can think of. What irked me when I stayed at other acommodations was that, some supplied soap but not shampoo, some would provide can opener but some don't. We had everything that...

A dedicated B&B home. Nice rooms and set up.
Pete and Gaye are great hosts, warm, friendly and helpful. They've been doing it a while and know what they are doing.
Farm had sheep and alpacas.
Breakfast was really good with options.
Good for a single night stay. Cheapest room at $160 gets you a separate bedroom but the bathroom...

We stayed for two nights in Pete's farm. The place is located in Rangiora, which is about 30km away from the Christchurch airport.
Peter (the host) has a farm size of about 100 acres, with about 200 sheeps and some Alpacas. They also have a sheep dog which helped move the sheeps around whenever Peter wants to do a demo...
