Fantastic little find if driving in Cantabria - set on a beautiful beach with massive tidal changes (i.e. quite high water limiting beach to small sandy strip spotlessly clean and silky sand - then within hours at low tide vast expanse almost allowing walk from one side of bay to t'other. We stayed here whilst on a Cantabria-Basque Country bus tour. The hotel is located in a beautiful, albeit a bit isolated, spot. There are no shops of any sort within walking distance, but the hotel has a tiny shop that sells some toiletries and souvenirs.
