My husband and I found this hotel completely by accident. We were staying at a hotel in Guadalajara when we travelled to Tlaquepaque. While spending the day in this beautiful city, walking everywhere and exploring, we came across Rosa Morada. We decided to go inside....by this time we were in love with Tlaquepaque and had discussed spending more than an... More

We make regular trips to Tlaquepaque to visit my wife's family and always go out of our way to stay at the Rosa Morada whenever possible. They have done an amazing job of decorating every room and definitely invested in top-quality mattresses! We sleep very soundly every time! They have kept an authentic Mexican feel/vibe to the place, but have... More

I was traveling with a friend on business and we contemplated staying at this lovely spot. Unfortunately they did not have a room for us but we ended up going for a visit and eating there two nights consecutively. What a wonderful spot as charming as any little spot I have ever seen.. Both Rosa and her sister could not... More

The photos of this hotel does not capture how beautiful it is- feels like you are in Europe. Rosa, the owner, is an interior designer and she did such a good job - I asked to see every room. The rooms are romantic with a touch of Moroccan influence. We ate the restaurant two of the three nights while in... More

My husband and I stayed at Rosa Morada, we have a young son (5) and the experience was great. The hotel is right in the center of town, we didn't need a car while we stayed in Tlaquepaque. Everything is within walking distance, restaurants, shopping, entertainment, churches. The owners are in the hotel all the time and they are very... More

We stayed one night at this great little hotel, and they were extremely accommodating. Our plane arrived very early, and we were at the hotel by 9:00am. They did not have a room for us yet but graciously agreed to allow us to leave our baggage there so we could explore until our room was available at about 1:00. They... More

We happened upon this gem, and were so happy that we did. We had been told to go to Hotel des Flores, and we did go and look at it after we booked our stay at Rosa Morada. Suffice it to say that we couldn't be happier that we had chosen (by chance) Rosa's fantastic Inn. Everyone was incredibly friendly,... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights last July, twice actually. It is such a special little place. Right in the middle of town, yet quiet at night. The rooms are done up with artistic and thoughtful care. The beds are very comfortable, the bathroom spacious and complete. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Breakfasts are copious and delicious.... More

Rosa Morada is a small Bed & Breakfast. There are only 5 rooms (I think). Each room is beautifully adorned. My friend and I stayed in the suite. The decor was wonderul with a beautiful antique piano and several other old pieces, as well as more modern and practical items. The room was spotless and well appointed. Every 2-3 days... More
