“Awesome and decent budget hotel”

I booked it last minute in feb 2012. Since I was new to penang had difficulty fiinding the place, but with GPS and the friendly people of penang, it should not be a prob. “Nice clean rooms, helpfull front desk staff.”

Although not very close to the city centre this Y has clean good rooms. Taxis available. Can walk to Komtar within 25 minutes. Or take a public bus. Komtar has the free tourist/public bus going around the city. Same buses may not come to the Hotel area and check with the drivers. Walking distance to the Lifting Buddha's Temple and... More

“YMCA Stay”

We decided to stay at YMCA in Penang, and we're glad we did. Not only it was affordable, but it was clean and the staff were amazing. They were prompt in everything. The room is rather spartan, but then it's nice. More
