Spent a couple of days there, it is a nice hotel. Service is great, the staff is very friendly. Hotel room was comfortable. It was within walking distance of my work. Town has a small centre, good enough for a short visit (not spectacular) When I come back to Boxmeer I'll definitely stay there

Stayed for business, as there is precious little else in the immediate area to stay at. I had been advised that my stay would be a 'unique' experience, and the advice was not incorrect. As a conversion hotel from an old convent, there is a substantial amount of charm and quirkiness to this hotel that you won't find elsewhere. However,... More

The atmosphere is certainly different! The tour on the premises was two thumbs up! (Every Saturday at 14h., costs 4,75 or included in hotel- offer) Really entertaining, very interesting!! Also: the dinner we had, no complaints at all! The lounge- bar was cozy, the different kinds of tastings (beer, whisky) a great gesture and the barfood inexpensive. The staff is... More

We were there with a group of friends two weeks ago (4 couples). It is on old building and they kept the historic details, beautiful! We had dinner there, very good. Spend the evening in the bar (playing cards), had a pleasant bar tender. Breakfast was okay, service overall is very good.

Located in central Boxmeer this former convent has been sensitively converted to an hotel full of charm and atmosphere. The rooms are simple and clean and no doubt the nuns would have appreciated the luxury of the modern en-suite facilities. The restaurant is excellent. There is no menu and the chefs prepare what they want for you. Let them know... More

We booked in for a two night stay to visit the war grave of my uncle at nearby Venray. Very interesting building with well fitted rooms. Staff could not do enough for us. Late night barman was particularly good company. If I have a need to visit that part of Holland again I will be back, or may even visit... More

This is a really old monestry which has been totally refurbished, maintaining the good things of the past. The rooms were just renovated - very nice atmosphere, modern style, great flatscreens. Bathrobe free of charge.
