Just had to reply to Charlotte's very negative review on Faasai Resort and Spa and really can't understand her problem. My husband and I have stayed at this Resort 5 times now for 2 weeks each time and fully intend to return for another holiday later this year. We have found the staff very, very friendly who can't do enough... More

Charlotte and her husband came to stay over the Songkran holiday for two nights. When they arrived, I received a call from my staff asking me to come and talk to them. She complained the room was too small and said it was over-priced - asking me if I was ashamed of myself for asking for such a high price.... More

I wonder how this 'Resort and Spa' has managed to get so many good reviews on Tripadvisor. Having booked a room for 1900 THB per night (with most rooms being this pricey or more expensive), I was expecting good quality. People that come straight from Europe might find this a reasonable price but if you know your way around Thailand,... More

Faa Sai is a delightful and family-friendly eco-resort run by a charming Kiwi called Bronwen and her husband, Surin who cleared a hillside of scrub and rattan and started building their small resort. It is a quiet rustic retreat from the pollution and mayhem of Bangkok, some two hours drive to the north. The resort itself is located on the... More

If you want to experience the real Thailand, meet Buddhist monks in their woodland monastery, and cycle through fishing villages which seem hardly affected by the outside world, this is the place to visit. Bronwen and Surin are the perfect hosts, and Sula is not only a great masseuse but also a top cook- she is only too happy to let... More

After the good reviews I had read on Tripadvisor and their website my expectations were high. My partner and I stayed in a brick bungalow and were happy with the large balcony. It was very relaxing to sit there, with a view over the valley. The room was ok but wasn't as large as the website suggests. The bathroom was... More

We just got back from our 2 night stay at Faasai resort. My boys (age 7 and 10) and I stayed at the main room of Cattelya House. We liked the room, designed in a typical Thai style - with a nice veranda. The room was very comfortable and clean. Everything we needed - fridge, AC, fan, hot shower. TV,... More

We stayed for 5 nights in the watermelon bungalow my wife and I in February plenty has been said by other reviews about how wonderful the resort is so I just would like to say that all the positive reviews which is basically all the reviews are 100% true. The staff are wonderful and so helpful and nothing is to... More

We love that resort and had been coming there at least 6 times in a year as it's only 3h drive from Bkk . It's a family owned resort in the middle of the countryside at 300m away from a Thai beach (behind a tiny hill). The Staff speak enough English that you need to get some informations, the food... This resort was the most beautiful place I stayed in throughout my year of traveling the world. I was greeted so warmly by the whole staff and immediately felt at peace. I stayed in the Balinese style bungalow which was so luxurious and comfortable that it made it hard to leave. The motto for the resort is "where the forest... More

Perhaps this place has changed hands since all the good reviews were written. The accommodation is ok. The food was the worst ever. Greasy fried eggs for breakfast for example and none of the other food was good. We ate outside. When we got there the telephone was working, the TV wasn't working, the motorbike we hired wasn't working (they... More

Dear Pablo, Thank you for your review and I appreciate that you have taken the trouble to give feedback. We have not changed managers – my name is Bronwen, I am the owner-manager and I am very sorry you had these problems, which I will address in this note. Our housekeepers are each allocated their own rooms and they take... More
