Excellent hotel used as an emergency fix as our villa was not ready, very friendly traditional hotel something different to your typical Costa's hotel as majority of residents here Spanish. Food not much to write home about, very dry and left out in Buffett. Can't complain of surrounding and people all very nice. More

Spent 3 nights at this hotel. Firstly hotel is very spacious but dated. Reception very helpful and having previously requested a high floor sunny room our request was met. We had room 446, end of the building on a corner with excellent sea views and a large and sunny balcony. The room was very warm, clean and the beds were... More

Hotel in good position, right on the stony beach which was impossible to walk on. Hotel staff pleasant and helpful and on reception spoke good English. Room average, bathroom outdated with peeling paint on door, stained toilet seat and cigarette burns on shower screen. Soap was not replenished though the cheap smelling shower gel was. Although there was Wifi the... More

Stayed for a week, and were very happy with the hotel and friendly staff. The unchanging breakfast buffet with plentiful cereal, fried/boiled eggs and bacon, cold meats, brown and white rolls, croissants and churros and fruit and yogurts though good, became boring. The inside of the bathroom door badly needed to be painted or replaced and the plastic under-sheet should... More

This hotel has many good points and some bad ones depending on your needs .The hotel does cater for a mainly Spanish older clientele and at the weekends for spanish families ,there are some international clients, probably less than 10% and many transient clients spending only a night or two. English is not widely spoken and apart from legal signage... More

We had a 3 day 2 night break and were pleasantly suprised, rooms clean and roomy, balcony overlooking the pool and the sea, food great, staff great, only complaint was the price of drinks at the bar, however if you like red wine there are water butts full of red wine Free at lunch and evenings meals. I have recommended... More

For most our two week stay, we were the only British tourists there. The hotel is Spanish, so don't expect too much English food, English entertainment or English speaking staff. Having said that, the reception staff spoke English and all were pleasant and helpful. The evening buffet had just about enough familiar looking items to avoid starvation. The English breakfast... Had stayed in Altea previously and wanted to return for a long weekend. Booked hotel directly by telephone and with ease. I had previously seen the hotel and knew it was within easy walking distance of the promenade and old church of Altea. I requested a seaview and was told all apartments overlook the sea at some point which is... More

This is the typical package hotel. It looks lovely in its website, but it's a cement cheap art decco smelling toilet hotel. At night they have an outdoor disco, so loud! That if you have a baby or want to have a relaxing time by the beach, then don't go near it. We came for a couple of days and... More
