We stayed in one of the queen lake-view rooms. The room was on the smaller side with no table or chairs but there was a fridge and microwave. The lake could be seen through the window however the beach was across the road. It was a small private beach belonging to the resort. At this point the beach is at a higher level... More

Spent the May long weekend at the atPlay Motel, view was great. The room was warm but very clean, Walked to the ice cream shack on the beach across the road and ate a very nice lunch at the Causeway Restaurant. Long Point is very nice, I would recommend visiting the area.

I had a great time in a comfortable, air conditioned cabin. The birding in the area is great, we saw many different species and the bird banding station was enjoyable. The cabin had everything we needed including linens and towels. We sat under the covered patio and looked down the channel. A nice overall experience.

The tap water was browny orange in color--probably caused by rusty water pipes. The discoloring of the water was so severe that one might not even dare to take a shower. The bathroom was very tiny and a spider crawled out from the bathtub drain. A length of spider thread was hanging from the ceiling light over the bed. Bread-crumb... More

Spent the weekend in a King Lake View Room. Walked into a very hot room. There was a tiny A/C unit near the front door. Was not nearly large enough to cool our room, nor the adjourning room where our daughter was staying in. For the amount of money we paid ($250/night) I would have expected to be able to... More

We looked on trip advisor before we left.. It was terrific! a nice cottage by the beach - just a 2 minute walk and 5 minutes to all the local birding sites. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our cottage matched our interwest stay in amenities.. dishwasher, fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances... big comfy bed... table with chairs...... More

We stayed at the Long Point at Play Cottages at the Lake for one night as part of our two week trip to Ontario and Michigan from the UK in May/June 2007. We wanted to visit the Long Point Bird Observatory and searched the internet before we departed for the best place to stay. The atPlay cottages are rentable by... More
