Just back from four amazing days at the hacienda des roucans. Fabulous oasis overlooking the river orb. Gorgeous bedroom, breakfast on the terrace, lounge by the private river beach and pool. Will be going back again!

Excellent choice for a relaxing holiday in South West France. Easy to get to with flights to Montpellier from the UK. Canal Midi close by and can swim, canoe, boat etc. River Orb extremely picturesqe. This area is becoming more tourist oriented as time goes by. Not going to write war & peace here because its not needed. Simply one of the best stop off visits we haqve made. So tranquil next to the Orb and surrounding countryside. We stayed here for two nights and wished we had booked longer. This bed and breakfast is a number of simple buildings spread over terraces above L'Orbe river surrounding a large swimming pool. This is a first class holiday retreat. Perfect location. Facilities great 7 love the pool when it got a tad hot in the sun. Beziers and the surrounding area is a great place to explore. We stayed at the Hacienda des Roucans in late September. A beautiful place with private and spacious accomodations with separate kitchen/bar and pool. Great considerate hosts. Our only regret was that we only had one night in this location. We were well pleased and have already recommended this B&B to others we know.

I can highly recommend this haven of peace and happiness. We spent a blissful week there and enjoyed the hospitality of the hosts and the wonderful facilities. We were made welcome in the best traditions of Ireland and France and the accomodation was perfect in every detail. We will most certainly return here.
