This hotel/spa resort is one of the best I've been to. Nesteled in the mountainside of a little town called Bormio (close to the Swiss border), this unassuming yet elegant hotel boasts one of the finest natural hot water springs/spas in the world! We stayed in a junior suite just overlooking the valley below and the breathtaking mountain views in... More

We did the 98 Euro package..use of facilities, lunch and 50 min message. The baths, pools and grottoes were amazing. The lunch was much more than I expected. A full buffet of hot and cold dishes. I don't think I found every "room" could be more informative for foreigners. Didn't like the co-ed dressing rooms!!!!!! It is certainly a once... More

We stayed in Bagni Vecchi in September 2011 (early), it was an 'off the cuff' decision as we were driving through the Alps on our way to Venice and wanted to visit the Roman Baths not realising that there was a hotel attached too. We finally decided to bite the bullet and pay the, what we initially thought to be,... More

This was a one night stop, but what a fabulous place. We enjoyed the natural spa facilities. The restaurant food was excellent with a really friendly waiter who went through the italian menu with us. Would love to go back again. Its our 2nd time in Bormeo because we went 2 years ago to drive the Stelvio pass, we could... More

This was my second visit to Bagni Vecchi which is a beautiful old hotel built high in the rocky cliffs on the road to Passo Stelvio. We were awakened at 5AM this morning by a fire alarm and after several minutes of trying to decide what to do, headed out in our robes through a maze of doors and corridors... More

I don't want to say too much, for fear that this magical dream of a spa hotel will become too popular if word gets out. The rooms are beautiful and immaculate. The view....what can one say. The spa is unforgettable. The restaurant is very good, while not amazing (the cheese, however, was delicious, as was breakfast). The service and amenities... More

A short week end in this beautiful hotel and I has been a new man. Very comfortable, you can access directly to the old bath from hotel or to the new bath with a free bus. All the hostes are very gentle, the rooms are clean and with some free optionals (coffe machine, tea, fresh apple from valtellina) Fantastic breckfast! More

We returned on our 10th wedding anniversary for a 3 night stay. This was two years on since our first stay and whilst the weather was not as perfect, the Bagni Vecchi was. Enlarged now from 12 to 38 rooms and with a new resturant, the hotel atmosphere was unchanged and the spa still as glorious as ever. The new... More
