Downtown, attracting business people, but tourists are also there. Fairly good breakfast. Pretty expensive especially if compared with Asia. Surprise surprise: NO WI-FI!!!

Average hotel. The garage people was very kind (they don't speak English). The check in was very quick BUT I think it is unacceptable (for the price you pay) that nobody in the front desk speaks English or Spanish. The rooms don't have enough light and are very small. The internet is not wireless and you need to ask for...

The hotel is in Centro. Very busy street. Somehow it does not do justice to four star status. Rooms are okay. Nothing special. Food is below par. No change in buffet. Same menu everyday. No wifi in the rooms.

I stayed here for my last two nights in Rio. This hotel was bigger than any of the other hotels I stayed at in Brazil so it had a more corporate feel to it. The other hotels had more of a family feel to it.
This hotel has many business persons staying here and it was busy. The reception spoke...

We stayed here during the recent carnival as an add on package after a cruise. The security was appalling you could ask for any key and it was handed to you without question. We left our room for approximately 2 hours and during that time someone entered and stole my i.pad. It was hidden but not in the safe as...

Definitely not a four star! It's a really dodgy area but the fact that the carnival was on helped as there were lots of police around even to guard he cases while the coach was being unloaded. Breakfast was plentiful but the only hot dish was scrambled eggs. Lots of cakes! No wi if in the rooms but a really...

Our room was on the 17th floor overlooking the city, very spacious and clean. The staff were excellent and friendy, very helpful and either spoke english or immediately...

I stayed at this hotel during the New Years ever period this year. I was surprised at how nice the hotel was from the staff to the rooms. The shower was excellent and the rooms were simple buy clean and comfortable. The rooftop pool, patio is lovely. The staff is VERY friendly and helpful. The parking was available at the...

We stayed one night in a small room behind the elevator shaft and had to sleep with ear plugs in. The bathroom was small, filthy and had a shower like a hose. The staff did not want to help, it felt like they just wanted our money. We asked them to book us a cab which never came and they...
