We stayed here as a part of a Backroads cycling trip that was supposed to be "Casual Inns." This place is not "casual" -- it is a luxurious, beautiful hideaway in a beautiful little Tuscan village. The rooms (and bathrooms) were among the largest we had on a 16 day Italian vacation. The dinner in the restaurante was excellet, especially... More

Wonderful hotel and great restaurant. The surrounding village is beautiful and its an ideal place for relaxation. We didnt spend time outside the village but there should be plenty of opportunities also. Only thing I missed was a gym/fitness which for me is part of a wellness experience.

This hotel is at the top of a hill in a small town in Tuscany. The highlight of the hotel is the spa (located across a small lawn from the front of the hotel, but accessible without having to go outside because the elevator goes straight to an underground walkway). There's a sauna, a cold pool, and a warm pool.... More

We came to Bagno Vignoni upon recommendation of a Roman friend. Picturesque location, very calm and quiet. Room was perfect, we planned to stay overnight, but extended 3 more nights. Familyrun hotel w enthusiastic staff. You feel like everybody wants to do their best to make you feel welcome. Great breakfast and food. Small café with light meals if you... More

We also stayed here during a walking tour and so turned up looking as though pulled through a hedge backwards; however, we were warmly welcomed. Our room was quiet and comfortable - all we could ask for. Dinner was included and we had a splendid meal in the restaurant. Breakfast was also first class. Recommended. We enjoyed being in the... This hotel was on our itenary as part of a pre-booked walking holiday from Siena to Montepulciano. We arrived after a 21 kilometer walk. It was hot. I needed a bath. Guess what? The use of the thermal pools was included in our package. Happy days!. Excellent facilities, comfortable room, quiet and a splendid breakfast to see us on our... More

We stayed in this hotel during a walking holiday and this was the most relaxing and most comfortable we could hope for. Big room with very comfortable bed and proper duvet in crisp bedlinen, not just a blanket. One of the quietest rooms we stayed in Italy. We arrived late so could not try the facilities unfortunately. We also had... More

Our tour group stayed here for 4 nights. Even although my single room was fairly basic it didn't really detract from the overall experience at this wonderful family hotel. The hotel is situated adjacent to thermal springs and offers two thermal pools, one warm and one cold as well as a relaxation area and steam/sauna room. Before dinner each night... More

the hotel is nice and the staff is very kind, also the thermal area with the two thermal pool is small but comfortable and very clean, but there is no control, like if you go in a place like this it's beacuse you want some quiet and relax but it is hard while kids scream and dive in the thermal... We discovered Bagno Vignoni by accident. We were having lunch in Greve in Chianti and I happened to pick up a regional magazine in the cafe. There was an article in Italian with pictures of a beautiful, serene spa setting. I asked the proprieter to interpret the article and asked where this place was... one hour south of Siena on... More
