It was an amazing destination. A bit pricey for our South African Rand but well worth every cent. If you love secluded hideaways that offer the most spectacular marine life - then this is the definitely the place for you. We loved every minute we were there and already plotting our next trip. The staff were excellent and attended to... More

Constance Tsarabanjina was our first stop, second visit, to Madagascar mid December, just now. We are slowly exploring Madagascar and chose the Mitzio Archipelago to start with this time. It's way north from Nosy Be. The boat ride is excellent and beautiful and it WILL take your breath away when you suddenly come upon the crystal turquoise waters surrounding the... More

Tsarabanjina is a 2 hour boat ride from Nosy Be but the trip is well worth it. Visitors are greeted by the staff waving on the shore. The 21 individual lodges are fairly standard but with luxury toiletries, power and hot water 24 hours. They are set into the trees, some with hammocks, overlooking their own beach frontage of white... More

We were picked up by the lodge's boat in the Nosy Be harbour and went on a 90 minute boat cruise to Tsarabanjina. Upon arrival we received a very warm welcome by the hotel staff and they also kept lunch for us as we were late due to fact that our flight was delayed. After lunch we were shown to... More

The island is wonderfully green and the beaches are great and very clean. Great bird life, e.g. Madagascar sea eagles and kingfishers. Food is fine. Unfortunately we experienced a cyclone - we were there at the beginning of February 2011 - which meant that there was quite a lot of rain afterwards. Visibility for snorkelling was zero after the cyclone.... More

We decided last minute to take the risk with the children and fly to Madagascar. Flight landed in Nosy Be witch is malaria risk area so we took malaria pills. Once we had unloaded the luggage without much help from the airport staff, the hotel's jeep took us to the harbor. From there the island was one hour away. It... More

What makes this place very special is the beach. Fantastic place to chill out on a perfect white sand. Lots to do if you fancy it, diving, snorkeling, water sking and wake boarding. Rooms are very nice but not outstanding. But sitting on the steps of your room watching the sun set with a cold glass of vino is quite... More

Having visited many so called luxury resorts. Tsaranjina is the best by far. Beautiful rooms, fantastic food, no entertainment. Perfection. Of course its not the real Madagascar. (what a stupid thng to say)- the real Madagascar is a very poor (but beautiful) country. More

The location of the resort is amazing. The boat transfer from Nosy Be is a great way to arrive - we saw dolphins jumping out of the water. The chalets are right next to the beach and are situated so that you're not aware of the other chaets - you feel as though you have the beach to yourself (which... More
