Most of the prior comments expressed my experience. The location within the Torres del Paine park is wonderful. There is immediate access to hiking trails. This hotel is perched on the shore of Lago Grey with a beautiful vista of snow capped peaks. These are the only reasons to stay here. I agree with most that was said, just some distilled highlights -- 1) ask for one of the 900 rooms, the view is spectacular and the room is very well furnished 2) the weather there could be very rough, so prepare for the rain and especially strong winds 3) the service is a bit rude, don't expect much coddling 4)...
