The hotel is in a very nice location with an amazing view. However, the rooms are generally poorly maintained (e.g., AC was not working properly, we ran out of hot water, the room was filled with ants) and the service is far from perfect. Second stay there within one year. And the hotel turned from nice into super nice. True relaxation central for people looking for peacefull, comfortable and cool vacation. Very friendly people, a nice happy hour out on the deck overlooking the ocean, excellent service, friendly people & good food at dinner------We somehow overlooked picking up our passports at the hotel we stayed at the night before on Lipari. A friend and I had a great stay at Santa Isabel - it's location and views are unbeatable but it's quite noisy due to the motorbikes and its proximity to the road. Staff gave us very useful information (eat at Porto Bello in Santa Marina - fabulous) and were very obliging when we requested a change of room.

Santa Isabel Hotel is well situated on top of a rocky cliff, above a perfect little rock beach. The rooms are large and luxurious, and ours had a view of the ocean from the bedroom.
