My sister and I traveled to Nutteno on October 21 and 22nd., 2011. We were going to The American Cemetary to honor our Father. Much to our distress our travel agent had booked us in The Hotel Nettuno, which happens to be in Sicily! We happened to encounter a young Italian who found the mistake and recommended the Astura Palace...

I just returned from another stay at the Astura. The hotel is very convenient for business trips in that you can enjoy Nettuno and Anzio in the evenings. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. The breakfast is a mix of meats, cheeses, fruit, yogurt, cakes and pastries served on the fifth floor with a great view of the morning...

The hotel was very clean and continuously being maintained. It was near several private beaches and a public beach. The train station was just around the corner from the hotel so access to Rome was easy. For 7 euros you could purchase a return ticket that also gave you access to buses and metro in Rome for the day.

Just returned having spent 3 nights in Astura Palace.
Its a lovely clean bright hotel with nice dining room on top floor.
Rooms clean bright and airy and we had a balcony at the front with sea view.
Breakfast was great with choices of juice and coffee with lots of room to spread out.
Although hotel is located on sea...

Based on other reviews this is probably not a good base for visiting Rome but our purpose was quite the opposite – we wanted to avoid Rome and Fiumicino for our last night returning from a motoring tour of the south. Hotels around the airport didn’t appeal nor did driving into downtown Rome. Nettuno allowed us to (a) avoid Rome...

Extremely nice hotel and wonderfully friendly, helpful front desk. Rooms were larger and more comfortable than expected in an urban beachfront location. Our room had a balcony overlooking the beach. We only stayed one night prior to a morning flight from Rome. It's a bit farther to the airport than we expected and apparently the roads can be quite congested,...

As with most of the leisure hotels I stay in, this hotel was booked using this site for advice and the internet to book; ergo blind!
The hotel is located right by the coast overlooking the marina, with a small busy road and parade in front of it- which is great for people watching etc. Upon closing your balcony doors...

We have just stayed here for a week, combining a few days by the sea and a few days visiting Rome.
The hotel is clean, comfortable and well kept, and the staff are generally helpful and friendly (except at checkout, when we had an early train to catch, and the guy on checkout was far more interested answering the phone)....

Modern, clean, pocket-sized room in a medium-sized hotel with a lovely view over the harbor below where we could watch a real community promenade. The room had everything we needed, the service was accommodating and pleasant, and the price was reasonable. This was a one-night stopover.
Great location, above the boat harbor and over the promenade. We so enjoyed looking...
