Hotell Arkipelag looks like East-Germany or Soviets. There is nothing alluring in the house. Having said that Arkipelag is well worth looking inside. Renovation has been done well. Hotel rooms are somewhat spacious, modern and clean. There's a balcony on each room.

The highlight of the hotel is the reception staff who were very friendly, helpful and efficient. We stayed in 2 rooms, and we would recommend, at least in summer, making sure you get a room with air conditioning, and if staying at the weekend make sure you get a room facing the sea to avoid the noise from the street....
