We were met at the Villa with a smile and warm welcome by Giovanna and felt as if we were staying at a friends house. She was extremely helpful and supplied maps, directions and advise on how to best travel into the city, park etc. The location on a hillside surrounded by olive groves was fantastic. The beds were comfortable... More

We found Villa Sestini in its quaint hillside village setting and were given a warm welcome from Giovanna and her charming feline friend Carmilla. Giovanna read our mind and gave us a pot of tea on arrival and we sat in the garden and enjoyed the great view over Firenze. It's a really tranquil spot away from the bustle of... More

We stayed at Villa Sestini on the basis on previous reviews - and we certainly weren't disappointed. The Villa is tucked away on a hill with a fantastic view of Florence. The roads leading up to the villa are somewhat narrow but it's a relatively straight road off the main road and therefore the Villa is not difficult to find... More

Tucked away among the narrow winding streets of the Florentine Hills, Villa Sestini feels like a true Tuscan villa, and it has the added attraction of being within close driving distance of Florence. Having a navigation system was definitely helpful for finding our way there, but once my family and I arrived, we wholeheartedly enjoyed our four-night stay in September... More

Villa Sestini came highly recommended to us by friends who had previously stayed there and we werent disappointed. We read about Giovannas hospitality on Tripadvisor beforehand and it was exactly how other people described it, she is such a warm and friendly lady and nothing was too much trouble for her. The gardens are gorgeous and the views of Florence... More

After having driven through very sinuous bumpy roads, you arrive at this place in the hills of Tuscany and are greeted by a lovely lady by the name of Giovanna. You will immediately wonder how on earth you found such a place. It's amazing. Giovanna will go out of her way to make you feel welcome and at home. The... More

A stay at Villa Sestini is everything that you expect it to be. Giovanna really cares for her guests and is a warm, friendly and helpful personality. We enjoyed dinner at the Villa on our first night and that was nice and ever so convenient. In the area there are lots of nice restaurants so you never have to eat... More

We enjoyed the quiet serenity of the Tuscan landscape with Florence and the Arno just below us. The Villa has beautiful and spacious living quarters with an attention to detail, such as Florentine linen sheets. The gracious owner, Giovanna Rossi, who resides on the premises, is accommodating to your every need. We will return as soon as possible. j Rankin... More
