We stayed here from May 10 - 12, 2013. If you truly want to experience what it's like to be Polynesian then this is the place to stay. The Warrior brings you from the airport to the Kuriri and his girl is the most amazing Chef. The freshest fish ever RAW - Yum. Totally authentic and delicious. You stay in... More

We stayed her for four days, and then went on to Moorea for another four. Our time at Le Kuriri was the most enjoyable. We chose this because of the reviews, and our expectations were exceeded. Camile and AnnMarie own and run the place. They are delightful, and ensured that we had a wonderful time. Our activities included kayaking (our... More

Definitely the best place to spend your holidays in Maupiti. Excellent room and service. This village offers a view of the reef and the ocean you can't forget. If you like snorkeling and kayak, the owner of the village can provide you all the items you need. In terms of food, here you can taste fresh fish, tropical fruits and... More

Deciding on where to stay when visiting French Polynesia can be difficult. Travelers always have different needs and finding the perfect one for you based on reviews from prior guests isn't always helpful. Let me make this easy for you. Le Kuriri is that place (in Maupiti, at least). We scoured the internet for helpful reviews while we planned our... More

My husband and I had the most fantastic three nights at Le Kuriri and can’t wait to return. The scenery is out of this world: the trees a vibrant green and the water impossibly blue. In a single day we saw whales from the breakfast table, snorkeled with manta rays, and watched reef sharks swimming after lunch. Le Kuriri is... More

We ended our stay in Polynesia at Maupiti Village. And we were disappointed. The bungalows are old and dusty. Comfort is below average. And as we paid more than 220€ per night (>270$), we expected good service, at least (bottled) water supply : we had nothing. They make you pay for everything, even for the 5-minute trip to Maupiti center... More

We do not understand this comment as it mentions a stay at Maupiti Village. Nobody from Paris visited Kuriri in September. I am not retired. Everybody is French in French Polynesia, and the atmosphere we have created here at Kuriri is largely described by other guests on this website. We will not insist on your hostile comment. Our team is... More

Le Kuriri is a beautiful pension that I highly recommend staying at! It has beautiful Polynesian-styled bungalows amidst an abundance of greenery and flowers that only French Polynesia can offer. It's small with only 4 bungalows, which have hot water and daily maid service; at night everyone eats together at the same table, family-style. Everything that you might want to... More

As part of a three week trip to French Polynesia, my husband and I decided to "get away from it all" and spend some time in Maupiti. The little resort we picked was Le Kuriri, a five bungalow resort with open air dining rooms and all the amenities you could want without the big hotel bother. For those who don't... More

We spent 5 nights at Kuriri with our 2 young children (ages 6 and 10). It was a beautiful adventure that leaves you far away from the tourism of Bora Bora, and leads you to the simple pleasures of a beautiful tropical island escape. Our children treasured the freedom of running around the small "village" and being able to run... More
