We stopped off at the Paraiso de Chidenguele on the way back from Tofo to Johannesburg. This is one of the few beachside lodges that can be accessed without a 4x4, and is only about 5kms off the main road. Also, being low-season (any time outside SA school holidays), it was reasonably priced.
