Super romantic and stunning backwater hotel on island. Ideal for romantic couples to experience the backwaters or for pre/post houseboat stay. Service: Excellent, very friendly and professional staff! Price/Rates: Accommodation mid-range but worth every cent. Restaurant/Bar reasonable. Full board Ayurveda packages available but expensive comparing to other hotel offerings. Individual Ayurveda treatments expensive. Location: Access to hotel by boat, hotel... More

The resort is a five star village with lake and paddy field. The property is really vast and you have a good view of the lake. The resort can be reached through a 10 min boat ride. We stayed at the heritage bungalows but had a chance to see the pool villas which are really amazing. The place we stayed... More

The hotel is placed at an amazing location. We got a Cottage right by the lagoon and the lake junction whcih was amazing. The Rooms were not as big as expected however quite comfy. The bathroom they say is the main attaraction as it is open with a open view to the sky. I Think we expected more and were... More

Coconut Lagoon can only be reached by a water taxi. It is a beautifully kept hotel with various types of rooms all constructed near the lake and the canals. We had one of the larger houses with its own small swimming pool in a small walled garden at the back. From here we could look out on the wet lands... More

Coconut Lagoon is a wonderful aquatic oasis ! It can only be reached by a water taxi. The complex is a collection of old, wooden, traditional houses that have been re-constructured at the end of an attractive canal & on the edge of the lake - which is superb for sunsets. The house we had was large & comfortable - The outside... More

This review dates back quite a bit as we travelled to Kerala a while ago and I am relying on memory to put together my thoughts. We went in October, when it was raining in parts of Kerala and when we arrived in Kumarakom, which was the last leg of our journey, we were greeted by pouring rain. Our driver... More

I am equivocal about Coconut Lagoon. I enjoyed my stay there but I would never go back. Initially, it is an idyllic resort on a small “island” in the largest fresh water lake in India. It is run by cgh group of hotels that major on large comfortable beds, good bed linen and an enthusiastic eco friendly ethos. We stayed... More

Dear Guest, Thanks for your feedback on your stay at Coconut Lagoon. I'm sorry that you felt intruded upon during your stay at Coconut Lagoon.
