What a wonderful place to stay. Toured Scotland in early May, 2013. The tour ended at this hotel and country club. Great rooms, excellent and accommodating staff, two golf courses, terrific restaurants and pub. A cab or bus into Edinburgh. And, by the way, if you tour Scotland by charter tour, go CIE tours!

As a Marriott rewards member I was very disapointed with the service I received in trying to book this hotel through the call center. However once arrived Murray B. at the front desk was fabulous and made everything right again. Overall the staff is wonderful, beautiful golf course and old country manor. This is a very very good hotel. The rooms are huge, got one "twin room" that had 2 double beds :| it has good desks for work (went in business), and if you get lucky, you can even get a golf course view! The food in the restaurant is just great, and also is breakfast. Highly recommended
