My wife and I drove up from Cornwall on a short Scottish tour and stayed for a few days at Melfort Pier & harbour. The house was very comfortable and clean and we were well received. The views of Loch Melfort were incredible. The peace and quiet were very restful. It is a great base to tour the area. Also... More

This is by far one of the best holiday breaks I've had. I was made to feel so welcome by the owners, John and Etonella and their friendly team. The scenery is stunning, the air is fresh. It's an ideal place to chill out, have fun, go hiking over the hills, through ancient forests and moss-clad glens. The air is... More

Beautiful loch house, very nice and clean. The house had everything I needed. The amazing green area Melfort Pier and Harbour is located, load me up with fresh energy, to return back to work. Perfect place for beautiful walks, which at the same time takes you to places where you can make the most special pictures. You can also come... More

We stayed here in early February, and was so impressed with the accessibility for my disabled husband that we couldn't wait to return. This time we bought our 11 year old daughter who immediately fell in love with Oscar. We received such a warm welcome from Hazel and Oscar it was worth the 4 hour drive itself. The view from... More

We have just spent 3 nights at Melfort Pier, our third visit here. We will be back again. Apartment was great, as always. Scenery amazing. Lots to do round about and plenty of walks nearby. Would recommend boat trip on the Farsain at Craobh Haven. We had our second trip out with Duncan and it was excellent.

My husband is in a wheelchair and we find it difficult finding suitable cottages to stay that cater for his needs. The cottage we stayed in had everything we could need plus more, right down to especially adapted sweeping brush. The views are breath taking and I have never had such a warm welcome. Hazel and Oscar made us feel... More

We booked the one bedroom Bridge Deck and had a lovely stay. In Mid November, we were expecting typically wet and cold weather but didn't plan on doing much anyway, we wanted just a lazy few days. Anyway, a very warm welcome on arrival and we had previously been advised of a special offer of an extra night free when... More

After just returning from a 3 night stay, i have to say me and my partner had a fantastic time. We were in the comodore suite. The sauna, sunbed and spa bath provided much needed relaxation and the log fire at night makes it super cosy and warm, The views from the terrace are also breath taking. We will definatley... More

Just to let one know what really happends.... The couple who left Anchrage, had put a towel down the toilet. It was a weekend and we could not get a plumber, as we are in the rual area. 2 couples arrived, and we gave them an upgrade, two bed rooms with two bath rooms, en suite both with spabaths. Monday,... Spent two nights at Melfort Pier and Harbour. The views are amazing and the lodge was fantastic. A great place to stay for rest & relaxation and also well placed for exploring the surrounding area. Spent a lovely day in Oban. The owners and staff are wonderful. We left an item behind and did not discover it was missing until... More
