We just returned from a great family get together weekend in Yorkshire - all 10 of us staying at the Cresswell Arms. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious and the hotel spotless. The rooms are individually designed and very quiet. A great place in a central location.

Went for lunch today. First time for many years. It was absolutely superb! Cooked to perfection. We chose the roast beef. It was succulent - just how we like it - slightly pink on the inside. Spent one night here. It is a handy place for visiting Malton and other places of interest, such as Castle Howard. Just back from staying for two nights at the Cresswell Arms. Everyone very kind and friendly. Food was exceptional and will definitely be back again. Thank you for a lovely relaxing much needed break.

Stopped here for an evening meal whilst staying in nearby Hovingham. The staff were very welcoming (as was the log fire) and we had a choice of tables either in the bar or the dining room. We stayed with our grandson because of the proximity to Eden Camp and Flamingoland. The dinner on the evening was excellent as was the very filling and well cooked breakfast the next day.
