I noticed the other posts about inconvenience with the trains so we skipped that and drove right into Rome each of our 2 day stay. The parking costs, but it was well worth the effort, we could go as early and stay as late as we wanted. We walked our feet off but saw almost all of Rome. If you... More

My wife and I stayed at the Villa Vecchia for two nights in April as part of a vacation package we purchased. The room was pleasant in its layout and decor, but we did have a few issues. The television was so complicated to figure out how to find a channel with English that we quickly gave up. We were... More

We were here for 2 nights with a Groupon...which meant we had only one full day in Rome. The parking lot for the train was full so we had to literally wait about 45 minutes...one car would come out and another could go in. Do NOT go in to Rome on a Wednesday as we did. That is the day... More

It's a requirement, really. Because otherwise there is no reason to stay this far away from Rome. The last train runs at 21:30 (9:30pm), which is fine if you go to bed at 9pm. But parking at the train station is very difficult, and it's way too far and dangerous on the roadside to walk there. There is a shuttle... More

My husband and I planned this trip a few months in advanced and we were traveling with another couple. They booked their trip through a package deal and we booked a matching itinerary separately. The day before we left home, our friends were advised that due to electrical problems, they had been moved to another hotel. I called and was... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of groupon. We truly enjoyed our stay. It had all of the necessary amenities and front desk staff was very helpful. It was also close to a metro stop so it was easy to get to Rome and so nice to stay in the countryside. The rooms were clean and spacious and offered... More

Starting from pluses: Rooms are clean and nice. there is almost everything you will need there, except broken hairdryer, and fact that you cant for example have the internet for free ( 1 Euro) or the iron, this can do for you only the staff for 5 Euros. Funny! Localization of the hotel is bad. If you dont have the... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of a groupon and were pleased with everything. The hotel is close to the train/metro stations to get into Rome (about a 15 minute drive to the Cinecitta stop, where you pay 5 euros per day to park and are not held to a specific train schedule). The hotel was clean, roomy and... More

This was the last hotel we stayed at on our tour and it was the best. The rooms were great, the breakfast wonderful. The tour "dinner" the best we had. The service was attentive and there was a shuttle (which we needed to take) to the railway station in Frascati which you can book. It's normally E$5 per person but... More

We stayed here at the very end of our Italy south tour. After the hustle and bustle of Rome, and the chaos of the Sorrento and surrounding area, this was a dream. This hotel is in a quiet place of the roman countryside. It is relatively close to town, about a fifteen minute walk, but if you desire solitude, you... More
