Driving from Alesund to Oslo, Otta is just about half-way and seemed a good place to stop for the night, especially as there are not many choices in this area.(It probably would have been better to have stopped earlier, in Dombass, for example.) The Nordlandia seems to have recently refurbished its lobby, and the breakfast room was also comfortably furnished....
