The Forge at Montolieu is a gorgeous ancient industrial site shaped successively by mills, a napoleonic forge, and textile mills ; at road’s end, alongside a steep sided river with wild nature as sole neighbour ; cheerful décor where the vivid colours of flowers and the birds songs enliven the greenery ; east-west orientation that guarantees, from morning to dusk, that every room of the house, and, every terrace, walk or nook of the park will lhave its share of light and shade.
