The first hotel ever which offered me rooms with or without cockroaches. Don't end up in the old part of the hotel. There are much better alternatives in Ormoc then this hotel. Its all, except for the entrance, rundown and bad maintained.

This hotel is very basic. Beds, sheets and towels are clean and they have strong WIFI connection.It is centrally located and there are eateries nearby so meals should not be a problem. In addition, they also serve reasonably priced food from the hotel so late night meals will be accessible. Other than that, this hotel has nothing more to offer.... More

New Pongos hotel is not really new, it lacks most of the basic things a hotel needs. The only positive thing if you will stay is it is very near the city center but if you have a car I would strongly advise not to to even consider this place. Stayed here one nite before going to the girlfriends town, paid1,100 for a standard superior room, hotel has a beautiful staircase leading up to the rooms, but that's where it ends. enjoyed my stay there, although I don't recommend saturday nights, the church bell starts at about 5.00am sunday morning, could swear it was in my room. other than that the hotel was clean and tidy, aircon in the room was good. some staff not as warm as others, but we all have bad days. the owner is quite a nice...
