My partner and I decided on getting away from it all for the weekend, we were feeling really worn out after a hectic Christmas with our children, Booking a quick getaway for the weekend with four kids and the family dog is normally a daunting experience, but “Wow” the staff at the hotel made what is normally a nightmare into... Had a fabulous time Friday to Monday. We booked with National Express and knew it wouldn't be a palace when told it was due for a total refurb. We stayed in the main hotel which was a bonus. Because of poor weather we had to amend the first day trip and go to Perth instead. The 2nd day of the... More

The entertainer was an X Factor boot camp... More

We have just returned from a 3 day break at this hotel. I had already read the reviews about the hotel so didn't expect too much when we arrived. As you can see the hotel is being refurbished in January but we found the rooms clean and the staff were the friendliest I have found in a hotel. The food... More

When we pulled up outside the hotel my first reaction was 'What a dump. We were met by the very friendly and helpful hotel staff and invited in for a coffee. My second thought was 'Appearances can be deceiving'. We then received our room number and the third thought was 'Oh I want to go home'. The beds and towels... More

Myself and my husband have just spent a long weekend at the Royal Jubilee for our ninth wedding anniversay and we would just like to say that it was the best anniversay getaway in which we have ever been on.
