A truly enjoyable stay. The accommodation is spotless - a lovely old house with plenty of character in easy walking distance of all of the museums in the area (passport for the 10 museums recommended). The breakfasts were delicious with most of it sourced locally - homemade muffins and pancakes straight from the oven were just perfect. Homemade cakes in... More

Stayed here with my son, his friend and our dog. The accommodation is a self-contained annex to the house. The owner (Ken) met us warmly with the words "make yourself at home" and we knew that he meant it! Clean, comfortable and the perfect place to stay if exploring the Ironbridge Gorge (a world heritage site) and its many museums.... More

Ken & Sara made us very welcome--my friends enjoyed the homemade cakes. Nothing was too much trouble-- even when I managed to pull the curtains down!! Ken & Sara are very easy going, professionally friendly and nothing is too much trouble

Four of is in our 50s and 60s arrived fairly late on the Thursday evening to be met by Ken who quickly directed us to our rooms. These were comfy, clean and well enough equipped. We then left to explore the area quickly stopping at the Black Swan and the Olde Robin hood for refreshments, walking can be thirsty work.... More

Have just returned from a long weekend with friends at this lovely bed and breakfast. We were greeted with a very warm welcome by Ken and Sara, arriving as the home made scones and cookies were coming out of the oven. The character of this property is great, the rooms really comfortable. Could have stayed in bed if it wasn't... More

Ken and Sara made us so welcome with hot drinks and home baking on a bitterly cold day. We loved our 1650s room with 4-poster bed and cosy bathroom, free wi-fi, books to read, hairdryer and cosmetics and the option of a tea tray. Parking was easy - right outside or plenty more across the road. As we were the... More

The house is a charming and a refreshingly different place to stay. It has lots of character and Ken and Sara have thought of everything you could possibly need, in our case even a water bowl and breakfast for our dog. The accommodation is situated fairly near the centre of Ironbridge and all the museums but also far enough away... More

My husband booked us in to this hotel for one night, and he made an excellent choice. I'm not going to devote much time to discuss the warm and friendly welcome, freshly baked bread, peacefulness, lovely room, hot shower, great breakfast.....it's all been said so many times before, and they were all present and correct. After 4 days of traipsing... More
