I have to say the hotel people are very helpful and friendly to talk to. Nice big hotel and looks like the only western hotel in the city. The food and prices were good. You can buy vouchers to have cheaper food...which usually cost around d $17 a meal. You can go to the top floor to sit down for... More

Just a standard business hotel. No frills. The upside is that there is a department and grocery store in its basement and an attached movie complex. Items at breakfast did not change for 6 days. Started to get old after a few days.

Very nice hotel, professional staff. Very clean rooms, there are non- smoking and smoking floors . there are floors with extra facilities like iron, iron board. microwave. Very close to hotel there is large supermarket called Home Plus, shop for food, food court facilities, cinema, clothing and much more.

When exiting the elevator our floor smelled like burning rubber but we could not find the source. Even the bath towels smelled like that too. My duvet was torn but the room had a nice large window that could be opened to allow some fresh air in. Our room had no bidet just a regular toilet. What I liked about... More

I travel to this area for business. There are really very few options for a nice hotel in this area. This is a very nice place. Lobby that is huge and well laid out. Rooms are very nice, but I had trouble controlling the heat. Just opened the window and shut the heat off so I would not boil. The... More

Hotel is apparently the best one in the area, so was chosen for this visit. Rooms are good sized and high quality, breakfast is good and has sufficient but limited variety of fruits, breads, cereals etc. Travel to the express bus terminal is about 20 minutes and the airport about 10 - by taxi with no traffic. Hotel staff's English... More

4 people stayed in September for 1 night. paid $150/night with breakfast - a rip-off in the middle of nowhere. the room and the whole hotel were way too hot - i guess they were seriosly saving on electricity bill. the room temperature was 26-28 C (on 3 separate floors) despite AC "working" all the tine. we were sweating even... If you are working or visiting this part of Korea there is little choice if you wish to stay in a Western style hotel. There are of course alternatives but will need language skills. This is the hotel recommended by my local colleagues.I have stayed here a number of times over the last couple of years along with other establishments... More

We stayed at the Ramada Plaza in Cheongju while visiting our son. Upon arrival our initial thought was "how lovely". Unfortunately our view of the hotel dropped off dramatically. The lobby is massive but quite deserted. The only people usually to be found here(despite there being 2 lounges, a bakery/ cafe and free wi-fi) were staff. We soon discovered the... More

Location: This hotel located at the outskirt of downtown or busy street. For a foreigner like me, it is a big problem to find food over here, as there is only a couple of tradition Korean resturant that only have korean menu and without picture. Price: The price is high compare to some downtown Korean Hotel/Motel. For the same price,... More
