This is a new hotel 4 km from the nearest town (but in nice nature park with lots of walks) and the architecture is semi-traditional but without charm. Long underground corridors, dark colours, not very inviting. Service is haphazard and not too friendly. English spoken at desk but not elsewhere. We visited Hotel Las in Szklarska Poręba during 2010, New Years 2010. We reserved the most luxurious room, called Matecznik "Niedźwiedzia" - luksusowy. The hotel was much smaller than we expected. Its been 16 months since our weddind day in this beautiful hotel(April 2010). We traveled last week from Ireland to Poland for a wedding. I would never have thought of staying in this area or Hotel as it is off the beaten track in relation to transport as the nearest airports are Prague or Warclaw.... we chose Prague.
