The place is staffed by warm and caring folks with a family atmosphere. When I ran into transportation "challenges" they were a lifesaver. Clean, low key, also wonderful gardens and trails!! Next time I´m in Montaverde I know where I´ll stay. More

The hotel is very spartan, but clean and completely comfortable. The location can't be beat and the service was very friendly. Breakfast (included) was delicious. White-faced Capuchin monkeys came to the kitchen door for scraps in the morning. More

I love nature. So I loved the fact that we were surrounded by nature here. Pretty awesome to be surrounded by colorful plants, birds, butterflies, etc. Bring insect repellent though =) The people who served us breakfast were very friendly. No complaints about the food. Receptionists could be friendlier though. More

This a very beautiful property, orignailly a farm (like many other lodges around Monteverde). Very picturesque with a trail. This place is horrible. Looks great but has managerial style straight out of psychriatric ward. Maid service discusting, never knocked, barged in on naked clients, then refused to clean room when convenient for guest. The front desk lied and denied services.
