Found this place by accident when looking for somewhere to stay close to Paracutin. Well it's a good hours drive from there, but well worth staying in the region because there's lots to see and do. We spent 4 nights at Casa Santiago in the countryside outside of Patzcuaro. It's close to the lake, and an easy walk to the two neighboring small towns. We had a terrific stay here for three nights. Keven & Amerinda are wionderful hosts and the meals were excellent. Staying here is really an educational experience.
