Our arrival at the Schloss for the weekend was greeted by a member of staff who immediately took our suitcase to reception and offered to park our car. His colleague in reception had our key and the registration form ready for us to fill in. He then took our case and showed us to our room. Although we had planned... More

How do you arrive at a 5 star hotel and have to unpack your 5 cases yourself with zero help......then put your cases in reception, go park your car and come back to find they haven't even moved your cases? Stayed for 2 nights. Rooms clean and reasonably maintained but very dated - shower (complete with gold coloured taps) was... More

This castle is simply beautiful, we loved it. We stayed in a suite, and it was huge, really big, even with 2 bathrooms!!!, the deco is very elegant and classy, it is an old building and the renovation has been done accordingly, very elegant and with lots of golden details. The breakfast was also quite good, not the biggest buffet... More

This is not like a real 5 Star Kempinski – it might just rate 4 Stars. The property is not in the best of condition. The exterior of the building needs a clean-up and the gardens are very poor – the car park is their best external feature. Whilst the foyer is looked after, the rooms are old – reminding... More

Arranged for airport pickup but no one there when I arrived.  Called the hotel & they asked me to meet my driver at the mtg point, so found a guy with a sign "park taxi" but not a hotel sign.    I approached him & he said he was off to schloss Hotel so I started following him, called the... More

During our stay we changed rooms. One of my wife's T-shirts was either lost by housekeeping before moving our belongings or while our luggage was moved. The shirt represents little economic value, but it could have been any other valuable. This must not happen. We complained as soon as we noticed the loss and the hotel tried to find the... More

I stayed here for a small business conference. The rooms were unusually large with an old world charm (the doors have key locks). However, the furnishings and bathrooms are up to date. The location is right by the Rhine river. Charming setting, very good food, and good service. Visit the nearby Kloster Eberbach for winetasting and a tour of the... More

We stayed only 1 night at the Reinhartshausen in Eltville but liked it a lot. Yes, agreeing with other reviewers that it seems a bit isolated (but that's not a problem when you're driving your own car) but for a romantic weekend away it's just perfect! Staff at our arrival was very kind and helpful. We were given one of... More

I should have perhaps realised this hotel was going to be a bit isolated (40 mins drive from frankfurt and 60-80 euros for a taxi approx -or a cumbersome train journey on old trains via Wiesbaden- if you arrive by train you won't easily find the hotel and the village it is in felt like a pretty ghost town so... We just returned from a five-day stay at the Schloss Reinhartshausen Kempinski Hotel in Eltville-Erbach and would certainly recommend it for anyone travelling to the Rheingau region. The Schloss Reinahrtshausen is situated in the village of Erbach, just outside of the center of the charming medieval town of Eltville. It is within walking distance of a bakery and a supermarket....
