She gave us a guided tour of Meta showing us the location of the train station, the shops and a restaurant before taking us to Orchid Corner which is tucked away in the old part of the town. Our rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. We had the "cat" room and our daughter the "elephant" one. We made our own beds and for once the towels weren't changed unnecessarily every day although Georgia made it clear that when we wanted clean ones to let her know. When we arrived we were all a bit sceptical at first because of location and how basic it looked.but after signing in they took our bags and told us to have a drink in the bar while they took them to our rooms which was a nice touch.we all went down to the ba..."r and sat outside on terrace which had a fantastic view of the sea and surrounding bay.thats when out views started to change.from then on it just got better,the staff were all brilliant ,they were very polite and friendly they really couldn't do enough for you..our room was out of this world with beautiful views,a 4poster bed and separate area with two single beds for the children. At each meal time the food and presentation was excellent with plenty of variety..the pool staff Franco and his pal were very good at making sure you totally relaxed and tended to your every need. Although the hotel was just outside Sorrento we had a free courtesy bus which ran every hour to take us and bring us back. We met some lovely people whilst there. Would we go back?
