  "i have read the reviews of a handful from complete and utter city snobs, my only printable comment to them is "get a life". If you want 5* luxury go to a major town benefiting from major tourism and stay away from my beloved yorkshire dales, we dont need you. This quaint village and its businesses..." only survives because of the Railway. The house is magnificent, ok it may benefit from an upgrade, if the owners could afford it I am sure they would but, to do so may risk ruining its charm. If you listen to the locals, get off your fat butts and have a pint with the locals you will realise and understand my point. Perhaps the steam from these magnificent engines made too much noise for you, or the train made too much noise travelling over the points, give me this over the modern electrified intercity any time.
