  "Stayed here for two nights for a weekend walking along the coast. Can't understand the "unacceptable" review as our room was fine and certainly not dirty or damp. It's nice to have a room with your own access and the owners were helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent, with granola, j..."ams, marmalade and bread all home made and eggs from the farm hens. The meaty sausages though had travelled all the way from the farm next door. A great breakfast for a days walking. The location is ideal for a quiet stay, on the edge of the village. We chose to drive 5 minutes to Durdle door rather than walk about 50 minutes to the coast. Some might prefer to base themselves in West Lulworth which is closer to the coast but also busier and generally more expensive. The choice is yours but Wynards Farm provides a good value and good quality base. " More >

We had the Sunday carvery which was excellent - the choice of meat on the carvery was beef, pork and chicken, we were offered two meats if we wanted, I had beef and pork as did my husband. The meat was delicious and not carved wafer thin as you can get at s..."ome places, the vegetables were all cooked well and there was lovely home made thick gravy. The staff were very good and attentive and we got talking to the landlord who said they had taken over about 6 weeks ago and were working hard to get everything just right. When we are that way again we will definitely call in for Sunday lunch. If you had a carvery you were offered a pudding for £2 - unfortunately we were too full to eat anything else but it was a good offer. There is also a play area for the children and a pets corner.
