She picked us up in Maz and was the most accomodating hostess I have ever met! Her staff is helpful and prompt to assist. I would suggest bringing bug repellent f..."or yourself. Gail even made a bonfire on the beach for us one night. I highly recommend this laid back, relaxing place for mosaic class or just doing nothing. The rooms are clean and the food was wonderful.   "Quiet Casitas"
  "If you need to get away from it all, then head north 1 hour to the Las Rosa de las Barras. The sleepy bay is incredibly picturesque with a lighthouse at one end. Apparently it is safe for swimming but when we stayed for 2 nights it was cool and the seas where rough. Gail is incredibly hard workin..."g, having built up her multiple casita’s from scratch. The Casitas are all individual self contained units with kitchens/kitchettes, purified water supplied via blue bottles and all have hot water. A recently added restaurant provides dining options for those who don’t bring coolers of food and drink (seems that most do). We ate the pizza and the grilled fish, along with breakfast and all where good with large portions. They can also bring the restaurant food to your casita if you want to eat in. The town is sleepy and only has one tienda selling beer, no wine and we didn’t see any other dining options although there may be some local ones. Great get away but you need to prepared and...
