  "The hotel is located in the center of the village near the "Fronton" hence its name. Fronton is a wall against which the "Basque pelota" is played. You find them in most Basque villages. The "Hôtel du Fronton" is an old building (the walls and floors are not all leveled) with a lot of charm. For in..."stance our bed was positioned horizontally by placing wooden blocks under the head-end feet. The room we got was actually a suite with separate bedroom and "salon". Strangely the access to the WC was via the "salon" and the access to the bathroom was via the bedroom. The hotel has a terrace giving on the "Fronton" and an inside bar. There is also an outdoor swimming pool, but in October of no use in this area of France. A free private parking space is available. The location of the Hotel is perfect for people liking to walk in the beautiful Basque region.
