  "Last-Minute on a Long Weekend...Perfect!"
  "I happened to book the last (reasonably-priced) room available in Jasper for the May Long weekend just days before we were to arrive, and it happened to be here, at Jasper House Bungalows. I was not disappointed!! Yes, a hot tub and/or pool would be nice. Yes, including breakfast would have been ..."a bonus. The atmosphere is rustic, not modern. But for location, service, and staff...I don't think I could have done better. Even at full capacity, it was quiet here. 3km south of town and right on the Athabasca River... perfect. Taking walks along the river were serene, breathtaking, soul-reviving. There is a private beach and miles of trails. Heavenly! The front desk staff had warned us upon check-in of a large grizzly bear in the area, seen on the property days before. As we headed for dinner that first evening, we were blessed to see him meandering in the ditch at the corner of Highways 16 and 93. Not sure I would have felt secure tenting in the area, but the wood cabins provided... " More >

  "We booked into the Beckers Chalets for a family weekend in Jasper. We managed to get a dulux cabin with 2 bedrooms so that we had some space from our 2 young boys. Overall the cabin was well presented and up to a good standard, it was well fitted out with all the comforts from home and well furni..."shed, and is highly recommended for groups or families with children of all ages. There is also a park on the grounds which is a bonus for keeping the kids occupied in the evenings and despite it being busy, there was no ambient noise. Minor gripes would be the shower, which is okay if you are smaller than 5ft 5in and have skin made from concrete. Most locations suffer from poor water pressure, however Beckers Chalets seems to be connected to the local fire department as the shower pressure is sufficent to put out a major fire. Be protective of your sensitive areas or they may be stripped off!! The internet was very slow as well, this was not an issue for us as we were there to relax, ... " More >
