The facilities were above all clean and the hosts were very accommodating. The room however was a bit..." small for all the furniture in it. For a short term stay my feeling is that the chest of drawers could be removed. Having said that, this is one of the better B&B's we stayed at in Newfoundland and would recommend as a place to stay. As in most of the B&B's we stayed at, our hosts were very interesting and willing to advise us on local attractions and history. The breakfast was to order eggs, bacon,fresh fruit, coffee, toasted home made bread and home made preserves. A great way to start the day. We were surprised to see all of the local attractions in or very near the town. And yes it is a very comfortable drive to L'anse aux Meadows and St. Anthony's and back in one day. " More >
