  "Feels like 5 star hotel!"
  "We went here for an overnight vacation. Regarding transportation, travel time from Manila(Caloocan) would be 3-4 hours.They actually lack sign boards to resort so we just followed signs of resorts nearby La Luz. We arrived 3:30PM, instead of skipping lunch buffet w/c is included in our meal package ..."which I appreciate however we ate lunch and merienda the same time. I reserved room for 6 people and 2 of my friends decided to come with us, so I called their Manila Office before hand to add 2 extra mattress so I thought everything is clear with both parties. Arriving there staffs are asking additional payment because they are planning to upgrade our room. I negotiate with their staff since we are informed about this, i told them to just add 2 extra bed to a room for 6, they gave consideration, and thank you, La Luz for that! Their staffs are very hospitable, as if you were on a 5 star hotel. Rooms were clean, they provide free shampoo and body wash to every room. The place was so relaxing... " More >

  "My family and I have already considered La Luz Resort our "home away from home" since Dec 2011. Though it does not afford us the luxury of a 4-5 star resort, but the laid back atmosphere, warmness of its staff and being pet-friendly makes it a good alternative for a quick getaway outside Metro Manil..."a. In my first review of La Luz on June 13 2012, I gave a two thumbs up. This 2nd review and update doesn't change my overall perception of the resort, but instead, would like to share a few info that travellers may find useful should you plan to visit the place. During our most recent stay (last week), we were billeted at Ipil B. This is in the first cluster of rooms nearest to the steps from Reception area, across Cabana M11, almost adjacent to Housekeeping/Laundry, near Dining Pavilion. Ipil B is a Premier room on the second level above the Junior Premier. Due to the fact that the resort was fully booked that Thursday night, and our usual requested room in either Mulawin or Sam...
