  "The place is gorgeous, though very basic. We came with two small children and all they wanted to do was to go in the water, but there were lots of very dangerous jelly fish! We decided to move after only one night. Would come back when the water is safe though!"

  "We visited Mañana in May 2012 for a 2 night stay that turned into 4 nights! We call Yan to organise bookings/pick up and was very impressed by his attitude. He ensured that we knew what to expect from Mañana, that it is not a 5* luxury resort but instead an isolated beach with basic accommodation...." On arrival, via a rib boat ride from the local village, it was like a little piece of paradise. A small quiet beach with authentic beach huts/bungalows with hammocks, set into the trees. We went for one of the bungalows which are basic but really lovely with an outdoor bathroom and double bed with mosquito net (take mosquito spray with you). All accommodation looks out to the sea with beautiful sunsets. During our stay we hired canoes, played volleyball with all the guests and staff, swam and did lots of lying around in hammocks read our books. You can also go for a walk or go snorkelling although I don't think the snorkelling is great (I'd go to semporna/sipidan if you are a snorkeler... " More >

  "Manana means tomorrow"
  "We were picked up at the airport and had a transfer by boat to the resort,fine you may think, the only problem was the boat was a very small inflatable dinghy which we had to wade out to lucky we travel light just 1 backpack and a day sack also we were wearing crocs so not a problem the boat had ..."a leak so it was a bit nervy. This was midnight by the way You may wish to rethink how you fly if getting a direct transfer. Settled in O.K in the morning we had to wait till 9.am till anyone was around to do brekky as we had just flown in we had no water or snackies and were very dehydrated from the flight . the menu was basic but sifficent and as long as they had beer no problem Ihad apparently drunk the entire beer stock of 4 cans the night before but the guy promised to get more in tomorrow You can see where this is going we spent 4 days there and beer was alwats coming tomorrow. Saying that the accom was clean and surprisingly upmarket for beach chalets with some nice homily touch... " More >
