  "This is the second time I have stayed at this resort, and would do so again. The first time was good, but they had just opened it, so of course things could go wrong. I have to say though, the first time was really nice too, the only complaint I had, was the bed was way too hard. This time, the s..."ame thing happened, we showed up for our reservation of a lakeside studio room, and were informed that we had been upgraded to a two bedroom unit. What a great surprise, especially as my husband couldn't come after all, so I took my mother-in-law. We each had our own room and bathroom. I recommend you try this resort in off season, around the end of April. The weather was great, and the hotel wasn't full. Do bring your own coffee filters if you don't want the coffee they leave in the room. I never drink it (possible coffee snob). Also, the soaps are in containers attached to the sink wall, and shower wall. Actually in the shower it's just shampoo, and conditioner, so bring your own ... " More >

  "We were here in the Canada's only desert on May 1 weekend. It was over 90' hot. We sat on the hotel's beach and got rid of our winter chill. The room was free on Priority Points and we didn't expect much. got a room on the 4 th floor overlooking the entire lake and valley with a small balcony and ch..."airs. We kept the balcony door open all night and woke up to the birds singing in the morning. The room itself was old Holiday Inn and in need of a redo, but the staff were great and more than made up for the tired hotel. We even had a handwritten note in our room welcoming us personally. We visited about 3 local wineries and sat on the beach. Will try and go again next year. " More >
