There's a boardwalk connecting a few restaurants, Boston Pizza & Dock of the Bay. We can do a BP anytime so we went to the Dock of the Bay (for the record if a game was on we would have chosen BP). Great steak dinner & even has a retractable screen on the patio to keep the black flies away in the evening. It also has a pretty decent kids meal selection.   "Stopped by for a night while visiting in Gravenhurst and was pleased with the value in comparison to price. For $100 plus tax on a Saturday night, a large room with fridge, microwave and all amenities, it was worth the price in comparison to staying at other places in the area which are more expens..."ive but don't offer much more for someone who just wants a place to crash. A step up from some Muskoka hotels but not on the higher end for the area. Fully stocked with all the basics plus coffee. Quiet and comfortable. The lady at the front desk was very nice. LCBO, Tim Hortons and grocery store nearby among other fast food and convenience stores. The restaurant attached to hotel seems a bit overpriced at $15 for an average burger and fries but no big deal. Smoking rooms are available if that is of interest to you, or if it may deter you.   "For those of us living year-round in Muskoka, we also look forward to the summer season. The "Culinary Theatre" at Taboo was outstanding last night. We enjoyed chef Rory effortlessly prepare a 6-course mouth-watering meal for everyone and it was truly was an event Everything was fresh, unique, taste..."y and we weren't filled up with carbs. We enjoyed 2 appetizers--a fresh oyster with a mouse bouche followed by a beautiful sweet pea soup with a lamb-filled tortallini--then there were 3 protein dishes all having fresh vegetables and light, but tastey sauces lightly drizzled around the plate which enhanced the flavour of each--sea bass, veal and another meat. Of course, there was a palate cleanser that seemed like watermelon-flavoured crushed ice with something that sparkled in the mouth. Dessert was equally yummy using seasonal rubbarb.
